As well as bikes I enjoy diving both in the UK and in warmer waters. I finally got around to buying a cheap digital camera and housing this year (2006). So now there's a few pictures and video clips of some of my diving. The next step will be a home-brew strobe now I've got the major bits I just need some round tuits.
I've dived in Malta, Egypt (Red Sea), Cyprus and here in the UK I've probably got a few more warm water holiday dives than home waters. This is mainly because it's far easier to rack the numbers up abroad especially when already on a boat, the logistics of UK diving mean that a whole lot of effort can be put into say two dives over a weekend or the weather can ruin it all at the last minute.
Red Sea 2003 This was my first Red Sea trip, on my own because I saw a cheap deal in January and so off I went. I had a good time but I am not 100% sure I'd go on my own again, I do like to know who I'll be diving with and a different buddy everyday doesn't provide that.

Red Sea 2004 At the club one evening in December propping up the bar as one does and Martin mentioned the idea of a Red Sea trip in January, so after checking with Katie (who has no interest in diving) I joined a group of eight and almost exactly a year after my solo trip off I went again. Unfortunately the day before we were due to leave there was a plane crash in Sharm which made for a slightly sombre mood as we left and hence the press and officials around the dock in some of the pictures.
